Russia Internet Governance Forum is a ground breaking public initiative spearheaded by the Coordination Center for TLD .RU and supported by the national telecommunication authority.

While Russia is growing into a leading Internet-wise nation in Eurasia, the major domestic  stakeholders have increasingly been in need for an articulated stance on fundamentals of Internet governance and concrete  mechanisms of promoting and implementing the concept.

The Forum agenda encompasses major challenges the Internet faces today and opportunities fueled by expansion of best practices in the Internet governance area.
